Dali Takeaway | 2022.12.8 - 2022.12.31

Life is always a drama of "Youthful Girls Originally Intended to Play Frisbee on the Sunny Grass Every Day but Ended up Healing in a Countryside without Delivery Service"

  • 2022.12.14 | Day 1: Played frisbee for the first time in my life, very happy.

  • 2022.12.15 | Day 2: Moved to a countryside inn with a view like a painting above the bed and a large lawn outside, just to play frisbee often.
    view

  • 2022.12.16 | Day 3: Infected with the Omicron virus, started a two-week healing process, and frisbee became a stranger.

    • Day 3 reached the climax of the drama:
      • Around 10 pm, the girl in the non-air-conditioned and non-heated countryside inn felt her hands and feet were cold, so she bought a bottle of tequila from the supermarket. After drinking a glass, her hands and feet quickly warmed up again.
      • Around 12 am, the girl felt her body was getting too hot and was about to take a pill. But suddenly remembered that she had just drunk alcohol and couldn't take medicine temporarily...
      • So the girl had to endure high fever and headache until 6 am the next morning before she could take fever-reducing medicine...

(p.s. The above text has blurred some realities to highlight the dramatic effect. The actual situation is: 1. It is not completely impossible to order delivery, but there are very few food delivery businesses, long delivery times, and high delivery fees; 2. The room does not have air conditioning and heating, but there are electric blankets and kickboard heaters for warmth.)

Texas Hold'em is a new form of cooperative learning to learn probability theory through practice

  • Played Texas Hold'em three times, lost twice, and won once with a full pot. (Received praise for excellent facial expressions management, lol)
  • The largest number of people in the cooperative learning group was 9. In the past, I always kept a distance from this kind of gathering and entertainment (yes, I was only playing single-player games in this society), but now I seem to gradually enjoy the feeling of people gathering together. But it's not because I won't feel lonely in a crowd, but because I like the feeling of public space/community.

The place I always want to go is the Grand Line

Watched two movies.

  • One was One Piece: Red-Haired Songstress watched in the cinema. Although the plot was a bit abrupt, it still made my heart surge—after all, it's the Grand Line, and the music and cast were also quite luxurious.
  • The other one was Bouquet of Love, which I watched on the hotel TV when I had a fever. I have heard recommendations for this movie many times, but when I watched it, I always felt that this movie was a bit dark. I always felt that the director's portrayal of the beauty of love was somewhat perfunctory, and the connection of cause and effect was somewhat forced. However, the repression of society shown behind it made my spine chill.

Don't waste Last Night in Dali | 2022.12.30

  • Love before leaving Dali, love under the cherry blossom tree in the drizzle.

"Will there be a rainbow after the rain?"

    "Of course."

"Is there one at night too?"

"Yes, there is, but we can't see it."

  • Planned to have a bar crawl on the last night, but ended up going to only two bars (not many that caught my eye). I have to say that if you value quality, Shanghai's bars are the best, but when it comes to the atmosphere of drinking, I prefer Dali. People are closer, music and dance are more free, and they are more friendly towards pets. In short, it's the feeling of public space that I like—"Dali's streets haven't been so lively for many years."

The final thanks, of course, go to the food (in no particular order)

  • Local Yunnan food: Dai-style hand-grabbed rice/sour soup beef hot pot/mushroom hot pot/steamed bowfish/bait silk/grilled bait block/grilled cheese fan/fried cheese fan/pan-fried tofu...
  • Other Dali delicacies: various whole wheat breads/various brunches/handmade pasta/lots of coffee/ice cream with the taste of Pu'er tea...
